Shadbindu Thailam is an Ayurvedic herbal oil used in Nasya treatment. Few drops of oil are instilled into nostrils, useful to relieve headache, baldness and hair fall.

Shadbindu tail has Anti microbial and anti-inflammatory action.So it is helpful in all types of nasal and sinus infections.It is used in Nasya Panchakarma therapy.It is also useful in the treatment of septal deviations or turbinate hypertrophy.

The main action of Shadbindu Thailam is on nasal cavity, sinuses and upper part of the body including brain, scalp, hair , jaw bone, mouth and eyes.

It helps draining mucus, reduces blocage and lowers facial pain.In some cases, patients have thick yellow greenish discharge from the nose and sinuses are filled with pus. In this case, Shadbindu tail is also effective for the drainage of pus and reduces blockage.In chronic sinusitis, Shadbindu thailam is more effective. Nasal polyps, allergic reaction; and deviated nasal septum are the most common causes of Chronic sinusitis. Shadbindu thailam can help in eliminating all these underlying causes.It helps in reducing the size of nasal polyps, improving the sense of smell, preventing the frequent infections and reduces blockage. It shrinks the size of the nasal polyps and then helps eliminating it completely. It takes 3 – 6 months to completely eliminate the nasal polyps.
